Websites for builders that win better projects
I design and build websites for builders and building contractors. A building firm is judged on its finished work, so the site is built around your projects, shown properly, and an enquiry form that filters for the jobs you want.
What a website for builders needs
A template with your logo on it will not win the job. These are the parts that do.
Projects shown as case studies
Each job gets its own page with the brief, the photographs and the result. Before and after galleries do more selling than any paragraph of copy.
Photography that does the work justice
Phone snaps undersell a six-figure build. I offer project photography as a separate service, so the site reflects the standard of the work.
Service pages by project type
Extensions, new builds, loft conversions, renovations and groundworks each have a page, because clients search for the project, not for a builder in general.
An enquiry form that qualifies
Project type, postcode, rough budget and timescale are asked up front, so you can see which enquiries are worth a site visit.
Reviews and accreditations
Google reviews shown live on the site, alongside any Federation of Master Builders, TrustMark or warranty schemes you belong to.
Area pages across your patch
Pages for each town you build in, tied to real projects there where you have them, so you are found by clients beyond word of mouth.
Built around what your customers search
People do not search for a business name they have never heard of. They search for the job and the place. I plan the pages from searches like these, then write each one for the customer behind it.
The same pages feed your Google Business Profile, which is what puts you in the map results. If you want enquiries faster, I can add Google Ads or ongoing local SEO once the site is live.

Questions builders ask
Straight answers on cost, timing and what you need to give me.
How much does a website for a builder cost?
Most building firms need project galleries and case studies, so they suit the Growth plan or a one-off build. Pay monthly websites start at £79 a month plus VAT on Starter (£249 setup), £119 on Growth (£349 setup) and £169 on Pro (£499 setup). Hosting, SSL, updates and support are included. There is a 6-month minimum term, then it rolls monthly. Packages start at £1,497. Most growing businesses choose Growth at £2,997.
We get all our work by word of mouth. Is a website worth it?
Referrals still check you out online before they call. A site that shows your recent projects makes the referral easier to convert, and it brings in clients who have never heard of you. That matters most when you want to move towards larger or more specific kinds of project.
How do I get fewer time-wasters and more serious enquiries?
Show the scale of work you do, state the kinds of project you take on, and ask for project type, location and budget on the enquiry form. People who are not a fit tend to rule themselves out.
We have no decent photos. Can you still build the site?
Yes. I can start with what you have, and I offer photography as a separate service if you want finished projects shot properly. For a builder, photography usually makes more difference than anything else on the site.
Can we add new projects ourselves?
On a pay monthly plan, send me the photos and a few lines about the job and I add the project as part of your monthly updates. One-off Growth and Performance builds include a content management system, so you can add projects yourself from the office.
How long does a builder's website take?
Three to five weeks, mostly depending on how quickly the project photos and details come together. I give you a schedule before you commit.
