Websites for electricians that bring in local jobs
I design and build websites for electricians and electrical contractors. Each one is planned around the jobs you want more of, the towns you cover and the proof a customer checks before they ring.
What a website for electricians needs
A template with your logo on it will not win the job. These are the parts that do.
A page for each type of job
Rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EV chargers, EICRs and fault finding each get their own page, because that is how people search and how Google matches them to you.
Registration and reviews up front
Your NICEIC or NAPIT registration, Part P status and review ratings sit where a customer sees them in the first few seconds, not buried on an about page.
Tap to call on every screen
Most electrical enquiries start on a phone, often in a hurry. The number and a short quote form stay within thumb reach on every page.
The towns you actually cover
Area pages for the places you want work, written properly rather than copied and pasted, so you show up beyond the town your van is parked in.
Clear pricing where it helps
A guide price page for common jobs filters out time-wasters and answers the question most customers are too polite to ask on the phone.
Google Business Profile that matches
I set up or tidy your profile so the name, services and areas agree with the site. That is what gets you into the map results.
Built around what your customers search
People do not search for a business name they have never heard of. They search for the job and the place. I plan the pages from searches like these, then write each one for the customer behind it.
The same pages feed your Google Business Profile, which is what puts you in the map results. If you want enquiries faster, I can add Google Ads or ongoing local SEO once the site is live.

Questions electricians ask
Straight answers on cost, timing and what you need to give me.
How much does a website for an electrician cost?
Pay monthly websites start at £79 a month plus VAT on Starter (£249 setup), £119 on Growth (£349 setup) and £169 on Pro (£499 setup). Hosting, SSL, updates and support are included. There is a 6-month minimum term, then it rolls monthly. If you would rather pay once and own it from day one, one-off builds are also available. Packages start at £1,497. Most growing businesses choose Growth at £2,997.
What should an electrician's website include?
A page for each main service, the areas you cover, your registration body and number, real reviews, photos of finished work, and a phone number and quote form that are easy to use on a mobile. I plan those pages with you before any design starts.
Will a website get me found for 'electrician near me'?
Those searches are answered mostly by the map results, which come from your Google Business Profile, backed by a website that confirms what you do and where. I set up both so they agree. I will not promise a position or a date, but a site with proper service and area pages gives you a far better chance than a one-page listing.
I already get work from Checkatrade. Why do I need a website?
Directories rent you leads and show your competitors on the same page. Your own site is an asset you keep, it costs the same whether it brings in five jobs or fifty, and customers who find you directly tend to compare you with fewer alternatives.
How long does it take to build?
Two to three weeks from our first conversation for most electricians. I write the copy from a short call, so the main thing I need from you is photos of your work and your registration details.
Do I own the website and domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the site is yours. If you ever leave, I hand over the files and help you move.
