Web development, Kent and Sussex

Web development that helps southeast businesses scale

Custom Next.js sites from Tunbridge Wells, built to win enquiries, not to show off a stack.

Built for owners who want more from the site

Next.js is the method. The job is a site your customers can use, your team can edit, and search can understand.

Enquiries, not just traffic

Clear offers, forms that go somewhere real, and pages written for the towns you actually serve.

Search that matches the work

Technical SEO, structured data and a URL plan from day one, so Kent and Sussex queries can land on the right page.

Fast on a phone

Most local buyers search on mobile. I design for that first and keep Core Web Vitals in good shape.

Room to grow

CMS, booking, e-commerce or CRM when you need them. You are not locked into a template you will outgrow.

What I build

Marketing sites, stores and tools for businesses that need the site to do more next year than it does today.

Marketing websites

  • Service and location pages that can rank
  • Lead capture that reaches your inbox or CRM
  • CMS for your team, not a locked page builder
  • Handover, hosting and source code in your name

Stores and applications

  • Shopify Hydrogen or Sanity plus Stripe when the catalogue is unusual
  • Booking and customer portals
  • Multi-site setups for groups with more than one venue
  • Integrations you will still own if I stop working with you

How a project runs

Discovery

I learn who you sell to, which towns matter, and what the site has to do in the first 12 months.

Design

Wireframes and designs you approve before I write production code.

Build

Next.js, a CMS, forms that submit to a real backend, and search basics in place at launch.

Handover

Your repo, your hosting, training, and a written guide. Support is optional after that.

Web development questions

What southeast owners ask before they commission a custom site.

How much does web development cost in Kent?

Website packages start at £1,497 for Foundation (5 pages), £2,997 for Growth (10 pages, CMS and lead capture), and £4,997+ for Performance (custom functionality). Every quote is fixed before I start.

How does a new website help my business scale?

A site built for growth captures enquiries while you are working, shows the right offer to the right town, and gives you a CMS you can update without calling a developer. I also leave a clean path to booking, CRM and automation so you are not starting again when the pipeline gets busier.

How long does a custom website take?

Foundation sites usually take 2 to 3 weeks, Growth 4 to 6 weeks, and Performance projects 6 to 10 weeks. The clock depends on how quickly you can supply content and feedback. I give you a delivery schedule before you commit.

Do I need to know Next.js or React?

No. I use Next.js because it is fast, good for search, and easy to hand over. You get a visual CMS, a private GitHub repository in your name, and a written handover. If you change agencies later, the next person can pick the project up.

Can my team still edit pages?

Yes. I set up Sanity or Payload so your team can change text, images, blog posts and case studies without touching code. Drafts, scheduled publishing and roles are included on Growth and Performance.

Should I stay on WordPress or Wix instead?

Stay on a builder if you only need a digital business card and you are happy to manage it yourself. Move to a custom site when search, speed, lead capture or unusual functionality start to matter. I will tell you honestly if a builder is enough for now.

Do you work across the southeast, or only Tunbridge Wells?

I am based in Tunbridge Wells and work with businesses across Kent and Sussex. I can meet in person in those counties. Further southeast work is welcome when a video call and a clear brief are enough.
