Web design, Tunbridge Wells

Web design for southeast businesses that want more enquiries

Custom sites from Tunbridge Wells, designed to convert Kent and Sussex visitors into customers.

What the design has to do

Pretty is not the brief. The site has to explain the offer, earn trust, and make it easy to get in touch.

A site that looks like your business

Bespoke layout and type for professional services, hospitality, trade and product companies across Kent and Sussex.

Pages search can use

Heading order, location copy and structured data planned with the design, not bolted on after launch.

Clear on a phone

Most local buyers find you on mobile. I design that path first: offer, proof, then a form or call.

A path to the next sale

Landing pages, stores and booking flows when the job is more than a brochure.

Custom design versus a template

Use a builder if you only need to be findable. Commission a custom site when the site has to sell.

Custom web design

  • Layout and copy written for your offer and towns
  • Speed and search planned in the design
  • You own the code and the CMS
  • Room to add services, locations or a store later

Template websites

  • Shared look, limited control of structure
  • Heavier pages and weaker Core Web Vitals
  • Platform fees and harder migrations
  • Hard to match an unusual sales process

How I design

Discovery

Who you sell to, which towns you serve, and what a good enquiry looks like.

Structure

Page map and wireframes so every URL has a job before pixels are polished.

Design

Desktop and mobile designs you approve, then I build them in Next.js.

Launch

Content in the CMS, forms tested, and a handover you can run without me.

Web design questions

What I hear from Kent and Sussex businesses planning a new site.

How much does a website cost in Kent?

Website packages start at £1,497 for Foundation (5 pages), £2,997 for Growth (10 pages, CMS and lead capture), and £4,997+ for Performance (custom functionality). Every quote is fixed before I start.

How long does a new website take to build?

Foundation websites typically take 2 to 3 weeks, Growth 4 to 6 weeks, and Performance projects 6 to 10 weeks. Timelines depend on how quickly you can supply content, photography and feedback. I give you a delivery schedule before you commit.

How does the design help the business grow?

I design for the enquiry, not the award. That means a clear offer on every page, forms that submit to a real inbox or CRM, and town-level pages when your customers search that way. The site should still work when you add services or locations later.

Will my website be mobile responsive?

Every site I build is mobile-first. I design the small screen first, then step up to tablet and desktop, and I test on iOS, Android and major desktop browsers before launch.

Do I own the website after you build it?

Yes. The code is yours, the domain is yours, and hosting is in your name. If we stop working together, you keep everything. No proprietary CMS and no lock-in.

Can you redesign my existing website without losing SEO?

Yes, and I plan for it from day one. I map current URLs, set up 301 redirects where structure changes, and migrate metadata so you keep the pages that already work. SEO migration is included on Growth and Performance.
