The Challenge

Salomons Estate had a bloated WordPress website with over 1,000 pages in the directory and 16 outdated plugins. The bloat was causing the site to slow down significantly, directly affecting conversions. There were also three separate blogs from different years, all competing against each other for traffic and diluting the estate's search visibility.

Our Solution

Replaced the bloated WordPress site with a streamlined Next.js build connected to Sanity CMS, allowing the estate's stunning imagery to truly shine with optimised delivery. Consolidated the three competing blogs into a single, authoritative content hub. The Sanity integration gives the team full control over content whilst maintaining blazing-fast performance.

Project Overview

Designed and built a premium showcase website for Salomons Estate, a historic Victorian country house designed by architect Decimus Burton. The site highlights the estate's 36 acres of grounds, 47 bedrooms, 10 event spaces, and its award-winning wedding venue capabilities.
